Dan Ahmad

Co-Founder | President of Peak Financial Freedom Group
Dan is a co-founder of Peak Financial Freedom Group and serves as the president. He has been a Certified Financial Planner™ since 1989, an Accredited Tax Advisor, a member of the National Society of Accountants, and was formerly an Enrolled Agent with the IRS for 30 years. He is licensed for annuities, insurance, and is an Investment Advisor Representative. Dan is a “Fellow of the Institute” of the Estate & Wealth Strategies Institute at Michigan State University, successfully completing a 3-year post-doctorate study program.

Jim is a co-founder of Peak Financial Freedom Group and serves as the chief executive officer. He is an Investment Advisor Representative and licensed for annuities and insurance. Jim has tremendous business experience, having successfully operated multiple companies in diverse businesses. He has extensive training and experience in mergers and acquisitions and, in a previous role, he co-founded a technology company and helped lead it to a successful public offering.

Dina Mestel, MBA, RICP®
Program Manager
As Sales Development Program Manager, Dina provides exceptional coordination and communication between all program members, sales, and marketing. Dina’s proactive approach has grown the program numbers exponentially regarding members and production growth. Dina strives to utilize her years of experience to elevate the program offering and experience to a higher level that truly impacts the financial professional’s practice and bottom line. Dina began her career with a financial services firm in 1995 while still in college. She spent the following eight years building her sales and marketing skills and received Marketer of the Month recognition multiple times. As a result of her efforts, in 2003, Dina was promoted to the Director of Marketing and held that position until 2005 before leaving the firm for two years while starting a family. She returned in 2007 to a new role as a Sales Trainer, where she educated the marketing staff on products, promotions, and services unique to our organization. In 2019, Dina became Senior Manager of Annuity Support. In this role, she led a team to provide exceptional support to our producers in the field through needs-based solutions and product case design. Dina earned her BBA and MBA from Eastern Michigan University. She also earned the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) professional designation from The American College of Financial Services and is life insurance licensed. Dina lives in Brighton, Michigan, with her husband, Aaron, their two daughters, and their rescue dog, Han Solo. Dina loves lake living and spending time with friends and family.

David Christie
Financial Sales Development Consultant
David Christie is known for inspiring and motivating leaders within the financial services industry to maximize their impact on their clients. He equips teams and individuals to grow their capacity and maximize results through vivid storytelling and practical coaching by implementing winning habits and strategies. Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America has been David’s primary home throughout his career. He's been an Internal Fixed and Variable Annuity Wholesaler, Regional Vice President of Broker/Dealer Distribution, and a Senior Fixed Index Annuity Specialist. David began his career as Director of Partnerships for Growing Leaders, Inc. Alongside Dr. Tim Elmore, he conducted leadership development workshops for non-profit and for-profit organizations in Cairo, Buenos Aires, Beijing, and the lower 48 states. He holds Series 6, Series 63, and Series 65 securities registrations, is a certified Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ and is life insurance-licensed. David, his wife, Kristie, and their Cocker Spaniel, Samosa, live in Los Angeles. He loves swimming, Texas BBQ, suspense movies, and hopes to travel to every continent in the world. David is an avid reader of personal development writing and biographies that tell the stories of great leaders who took risks to live courageous lives. David earned a degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.

Ryan Pace
Financial Sales Development Consultant
A Vice President of Business Development with TruChoice Financial Group, Ryan works with Dan and Jim on building and maintaining a comprehensive coaching program for financial professionals in the Peak Performance Program. He hosts weekly calls with Dan and Jim for PPP members, and a separate weekly call where he facilitates conversation around Dan and Jim’s concepts and takes callers on a deeper dive into them. Ryan also is part of TruChoice’s wholesaler development program, co-hosting weekly calls with wholesalers who walk through best practices, sales concepts, and ways to better serve their financial professionals. Ryan has served financial professionals since 2012, when he joined a TruChoice member firm and quickly rose through the ranks. Prior to his current role, he spent three years responsible for sales in the northeast region, followed by several years with the TruAdvisor Network, coaching and educating financial advisors around their appointment processes and client communication tactics. Ryan is always looking for learning opportunities to better serve the financial professionals he works with, epitomizing his favorite quote from basketball coaching legend John Wooden: “It’s what you learn after you know it all that matters.” Ryan is insurance licensed. Ryan and his wife, Katie, have three daughters and make their home in Marietta, Georgia. He is an avid hunter and fisherman, and he loves spending time on the golf course. Ryan is a huge fan of all Atlanta sports teams, although the Bulldogs he cheers for are not from down the road in Athens, Georgia, but from his alma mater, Mississippi State University.
